I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
Psalm 121:1

How it works

  1. Choose your apps

Pick the apps and websites that take your time, in Apple’s Screen Time picker. Pause them all day, or between hours you choose.

Lift Your Eyes setup screen: Choose the apps to pause, with 3 apps and 1 category selected.

  2. A verse opens them

When you open a paused app, review a verse first. It takes about half a minute, and then your apps open for a while.

A paused app shows a pause screen with Psalm 23:1, the hint The LORD is my, and a Review a verse button. A notification arrives at the top.

  3. The verses stay

A new verse each day, brought back right before you would forget it. The ones you learn stay in your reviews, long after today.

The Lift Your Eyes home screen: 5 verses learned, today’s verse and the list of learned verses.
